Give a free membership for owners
Cache-Owners provide the basis for the success of our sport.
Today, most of the participants do not own caches, they are only hunters / consumers.
Have the owners participate in your commercial success and give them free memberships.

Currently I feel that the ratio between providers (owners) and consumers (only hunters, no caches) is no longer balanced. Statistically, I’d assume a pareto distribution – 80% of good caches are provided by a max of 20% owners.

Furthermore, it is the good caches that attract geocachers and that makes them buy a premium membership.

Last, this seems to result in a good income in Seattle, all based on people hiding good caches.

This unbalanced distribution should be avoided, it gets people in bad mood, creates churn.

The other commenters are right, a „premium membership for any owner“ won’t really make sense, as it could influence the quality of caches to the worse. Nevertheless, I think, there should be some sort of loyalty program for those hardening the basis of your business.
My suggestion of a free membership is a pragmatic way of starting the discussion, there’s still quite a lot of room to talk about!

Thanks for your comments to my suggestion!

Ist das in Eurem Sinne?
